My name is Natalie and I am the founder of Sockan Crochet.

I am a stay at home mother from Sweden, living with my husband, our two young children and three cats.

The name “Sockan” means “sock” in Swedish and was the name of my first cat, who passed away in 2025. Choosing her name for my crochet brand is my way of keeping a little piece of her with me.

I started crocheting in 2021 when I was pregnant with my first child. Initially, I crocheted small blankets, amigurumi, and pacifier clips. After crocheting for a few years, I decided to start designing my own patterns and in 2024 I began selling my patterns on Etsy and Ravelry.

Over the years my passion for crochet and pattern design has grown and evolved and today I mainly create garments and accessories inspired by Nordic nature and with a sense of elegance.
